With Azure Plan, your customers can gain access to Azure Services at pay-as-you-go rates and get the new commerce experience. This helps customer can keep a tap on their day to day usage costs using estimates and forecasts.
Simplified Azure Purchase experience:
Azure Plan allows your customers to have multiple Azure subscription under a single plan instead of placing a separate order per subscription. Microsoft have also enabled CSP partners to sell Azure services that aligns with a single global pricing principle to provide greater transparency to the customers.
How to purchase Azure Plan:
As a partner, you can confirm customer acceptance of Microsoft Customer Agreement on partner center dashboard or have the customer directly accept it on Microsoft 365 admin center. Once the agreement is accepted, you can purchase Azure Plan for the customers like you do for any other subscription.
What I can get from this Azure plan?
Your customers can get enhanced billing and cost-management capabilities to support your ongoing usages in the Azure Services and that enables your business growth
Transit CSP Azure offer to Azure Services:
You can migrate your customers from Azure CSP offer to Azure Services under the Azure plan within the partner center.
(I.e.,) If your customers have existing Microsoft Azure Subscriptions, then a CSP reseller you should transit those subscriptions to a new Azure Plan.
It requires, partner and end-customer to confirm the reseller relationship through the Partner Center, and the customer must sign the Microsoft Customer Agreement.
Partners must have AOBO (Admin-On-Behalf-Of) access at the resource level to earn PEC on Azure Subscriptions.
Direct CSP partners are automatically assigned AOBO rights to perform administrative tasks on the customer’s Azure AD tenant on behalf of the customer.
Customers do not have admin rights unless provided by the Partner. Also, indirect CSP partners to gain access, their Direct providers must give AOBO rights.
The new commerce experience in CSP for Azure is currently scheduled to be available in 139 countries.
