  1. In VConnect install folder update the script ‘C:\inetpub\MgmtSvc-CloudAssert-VConnect\bin\Scriptlets\AfterVMCustomizationScript.ps1’ with the script available in the zip archive here.
  2. Add Two Parameters to the Linux VM Templates:
    1. VConnect Admin Extension Portal >> Connections >> VM Templates Tab.  Select a specific Linux VM Template.VM Templates Tab >> Select a specific Linux VM Template

    2. Then click ‘Add new Parameter’ and add two parameters of type Password.Add new Parameter

    Type: Password
    Param Name: CurrentRootPasswordCurrent Root Password Parameter

Type: Password
Param Name: RootPasswordNew Root Password
