We are happy to reveal our latest VConnect version with all the latest fixes.

VConnect now lets the Admin users migrate VCenter virtual machines between subscription folders

Previously what customers did?

Drag and drop between subscriptions in VCenter server

It is hard to identify the correct subscription id

After migrating, customers must sync the required connection.

New easier way

Select a subscription and directly migrate the VM from Admin portal

Customer doesn’t need to remember the subscription id, all they need to do is just to select the required subscription

Migrate VM Wizard

  • Migrate VM wizard will list the subscriptions associated with the VCenter connection

  Before VM migration

It is even easier to migrate the VM from the respective connection

After VM migration

What if the subscription folder is not present?

  • A new subscription folder will be created and the VM will be migrated to that folder

 Before VM migration

After VM migration

What if the VM is under Root Folder?

  • The new subscription folder is created under the Root Folder

Before VM migration

 After VM migration

What happens when there is a VM in new subscription with same name as in old?

  • The VM won’t be migrated to new subscription

Cloudassert's VConnect solution will enable any type of enterprise to attain cost-effectiveness, automation, and efficient multi-cloud environment application deployment for the customers.
