Microsoft Azure Stack

Determine the optimal Azure Stack Hub instance (aka stamp) to deploy a set of VMs with VConnect

Manage and take actions across multiple stamp instances from a single Azure Stack Hub portal with one-pane glass experience

VConnect Multi-stamp Management for Azure Stack Hub enables the administrators/ operators to manage and take actions across multiple stamp instances from a single Azure Stack Hub portal with one-pane glass experience.

Ideally, every Azure Stack Hub operator would want to determine the superlative AzStack Hub instance to deploy a set of virtual machines. In order to facilitate this process, Cloud Assert released a new feature 'VM Placement Recommendation' as part of VConnect Multi-stamp Management (MSM) solution for Azure Stack Hub. This feature enables the operators to choose the optimal stamp instance across multiple stamps based on the available capacity.

The following details with the portal snapshots lets you quickly understand how the solution works,

When you choose a resource (aka Virtual Machine) from different series and size, you will get to see its subsequent details like vCPU, Memory, Storage, etc., holistically as shown in the below image.

While placing the chosen virtual machines, you can select the 'Show Recommendation' button where the system recommends the option to optimally place VMs of various sizes across stamp instances based on the available capacity.

You will get a holistic view of the summary of the added virtual machines with its aggregated resources such as CPU, Memory, Storage, etc., as shown in the below image
